Imagine if we told you that we're releasing not one, not three, but TWO exclusive, limited edition cassettes for Cassette Store Day 2015?

Well there's no need to imagine because this news is REAL and HAPPENING. A pair of one-offs both to be released on October 17th, with tracks from both streaming now.

First up is La Bete Blooms' latest standalone release - two brand new singles by the Hull post-punk five-piece, the first of which is streaming right here, just below this sentence.

Pre-orders open now: La Bete Blooms - Summer / Nothing Left But The Taste

The second release is a live album on blue cassette featuring spoken word and music by Matthew Hedley Stoppard & The Glass Delusion, recorded in April 2015 in a converted chapel in Leeds, UK. Wow, long sentence! But all the information is there, and that's what's important.

Entitled 'Runt County: Live at Chapel FM', the release contains live renditions of selected tracks from their 2014 studio album, Runt County (featured on BBC 6 Music), with added mistakes, accidental live improvisations and forgotten lyrics at no added cost.

Also featured is a unique spoken-word cover of Taylor Swift's modern classic, Blank Space. That's right, the group beat Ryan Adams to the punch. That's streaming below, dive in.

Someone or something called Mad Mackerel said this about Runt County: "It comes across like the bastard lovechild of Gil Scott Heron and The Fall, and sounds just as good as you would imagine."
